Women's Day! A Remembrance of great revolutions for Women Rights, World peace since 1909. Though the dates, place and the organisations sparked for the revolution are changed. say, added, It is always for women rights in socio, economic and political scenarios. Even today, as many revolutions led to many other revolutions, we are always improving to fight for what we want as the atrocities, inequality still exist and exist in different forms from other in past, present and may be in future. But, Yeah! we fought, we will fight and that's why this day Women's day is to cherish the fruits of past revolution for women's rights especially right to vote and to motivate ourselves to achieve equality at workplace, at home, in society.
Especially in India, where Indians pray Goddesses of different forms and believe that they have the utmost strength of creating this universe and even destroying those who are bad and yet treat existing women as things to use for comforting their sexual desires, doing household works and treat them as LOWER to them. Those shut the voices which are raised for human rights, against injustice in the country by sexual remarks if it's Women and are the only one makes the great Warriors 'Sammakka, Saaralamma' who fought against the atrocities on women and the injustice by the people in power as Godesses and offers prayers.
I wonder why Indians won't speak loud about the bravery of these two women to inspire many other women and also men to fight against the atrocities of the people who feel they are POWER (either it is by men on women or by upper caste on lower caste or by majority on minority or by the people in power on the Powerless common man) instead of making the idles and offering prayers to the immovable.
I wonder why Indian women who pray to santhoshima, kali ma, durga ma along with their family doesn't even give a thought of having strength to fight for themselves instead of being coward and stop even thinking of doing what they need.
I wonder the country where Cricket is a religion and cricketers are made Gods, Why the women cricket is so infamous that we rarely get to see on t.v with a live telecast.
I wonder why in this Democratic country where the law says there may be a chance of not punishing the culprit but No INNOCENT should be punished, always blame women who are raped. who find fault on the women side that her life has become a shallow instead of talking about the justice to her and punishment to the culprit and think about how to change the attitudes
I wonder why people DO the WRONG even though they KNOW thinking that may not be a big deal for the future of their own (Like giving/taking Dowry, restricting and making limitation for the tasks the girl can do, teaching them to be sensible and weak, telling a 21+ aged women that marriage is the only important thing in her life and successful if the guy is good) Instead of opposing these small things which changes the mindset of your own people and others who see you, Instead of telling your girl child to fight back when something went wrong with herself, instead of telling them to be strong, instead of telling a 21+ aged women to stand for her concentrating on her loved career.
I am wondering what is going on and wonder will it ever change?
In a discussion with few of my very closed ones after I posted the fuck off remark on me who really think the women atrocities in this societies are wrong. but, few by opposing my post, while few are anger and while few advising me to ignore and while few questioning me why do you want to be popular by posting that and while few giving me remarks of spoiling my own image, while few ordering me to take off the post and while very little supporting me in posting, I know that's all love towards me and so reacted in all the different ways that they thought of. But then I asked myself, if all these with love stand still even before any incident from acid attack on aadivasi chattisgarh human rights activist soni suri to the recent conistable trainee rape to anyone, it won't really happen. If all the Bad is flowing so desperately with lot of freedom, why the ones who think Right has to be done has to keep Quiet?
But Yeah! I wanted to thank all those Fathers, Brothers, Friends, Husbands and all the women who gave the right place, freedom for women in their life and contributing for the change we need to see in this society. A very Big Thank You! Together We Shall Overcome! One Day!
With a Concluding note that, There is much need of Women's Day Celebration in India to get inspired and to have a notion for celebrating the next Women's day with a pride of owning our rights in large numbers.
