Spirit of Telangana - Where did you go?

This Labor day Long weekend, I wanted to be in my room relaxing to prepare for the on-call work week. My weekend started with movies like Placebo, Parched and ended with songs of Maabhoomi Sandhyakka. I wonder if there are any good old words remained for her voice. I loved her songs and voice since childhood. So, I thought I would end this weekend with her songs before starting preparations for weekdays. Her song 'Re la Re Re la Re Telangana Tevaale' paved way deep into my thoughts. Though the dream of Telangana Statehood has got into reality, there is something still holding back to be happy. In this song we sing, 'Aadivaaseelu aadela Telangana tevaale'. Not Aadivasis, but we danced getting telangana state keeping aadivasis life at stake and when we talk about aadivasis, organizing meetings for aadivasis, the Telangana Government arrest, warn us. Isn't the 'Raithaanga poraatam' the essence of the Telangana Revolution? But, why still the Farmers suicides a...

Though the dates, place and the organisations sparked for the revolution are changed. say, added, It is always for women rights in socio, economic and political scenarios. Even today, as many revolutions led to many other revolutions, we are always improving to fight for what we want as the atrocities, inequality still exist and exist in different forms from other in past, present and may be in future. But, Yeah! we fought, we will fight and that's why this day Women's day is to cherish the fruits of past revolution for women's rights especially right to vote and to motivate ourselves to achieve equality at workplace, at home, in society.      Especially in India, where Indians pray Goddesses of different forms and believe that they have the utmost strength of creating this universe and even destroying those who are bad and yet treat existing women as things to use for comfo...

I Love Sindhu

I grew with her, i played with her, I read with her, learnt from her, fought with her, cursed her yet she never left me behind in hardships. She is not only my mother, not at all lone my grand mother. She is both, mother of all mothers, a real essence of Motherhood. I wonder Motherly Love has described just from her. Though my mom is my first teacher, she is the best one. She is My father, GrandFather who never let me go down even in my thoughts ever inspiring. Though my father taught me stories of life, she showed me what real life is. She is my never breaking companion who taught me friendship, love and passion. When I followed it she gave me the worst situations to face, hated her because of this. yet smiled at me with a sigh of deep relief which I never understood then. She poked me for my incompetency. So,Insulted her all alone my life not giving a thought why am I. She left me with so many wounds without letting me know she is on her death bed. I hated her for cutting my wings t...

Hot wheels of the sub-continent (India)

The present biggest issue in the Indian sub continent is creating 29 th state named ‘Telangana’. Telangana  is merged with the Andhra state created in 1953 from telugu speaking people of madras state  to form Andhra Pradesh in 1956.             Telangana’s merger into Andhra state has been done in the year 1956 against the SRC’s recommendations to wait till 1961 to get approval from 2/3 of telangana state assembly and 2 cycles of elections in telangana state(PARA 386). This merger has been done by the gentleman’s agreement between these two region leaders to prevent discrimination against telangana  by the government of A.P.             The main concern of people of telangana before the merger into A.P is the distribution of revenue as telangana is a larger revenue base but had less developed economy system as of Andh...
